Did you know that Innovation Lab HS has supplies set aside in case of emergency? If there was an emergency or natural disaster, the school has food, water and basic supplies to keep students and staff safe as they work to reunite students with their families. |
When inventorying the supplies, we found that we could use a few more basic items. We're asking for our community's help in donating supplies that will assist our school in case of an emergency. Please visit our Amazon Wish List to see how you can help.
Items purchased off the list will be delivered to our ILHS PTSA Emergency Preparedness Chair - Jane Chiodo - and then inventoried and placed in the ILHS emergency supply shed. We appreciate your support!

Shoutout to Giving Tuesday Donors and Volunteers
Thank you to everyone who donated to Threads & Treads on Giving Tuesday! The donation bin was overflowing with new socks, pajamas, and underwear - your generosity truly made an impact.
A big thank you as well to those who contributed to Raising for Ravens in support of ILHS PTSA. Together, we raised $415! Thank you to Kim, Maggie, and Jenn - our amazing elves - who helped collect donations in the pick-up line.
Shout Out to EPrep Reunification Drill Volunteers
On October 1, ILHS staff ran a reunification drill with the help of adult volunteers and a few of their students. A reunification drill prepares staff for an emergency in which students may need to be released quickly to a parent or guardian.
Huge thanks to our adult volunteers and their very patient students for helping staff practice the process and learn how reunification would work if needed. Thank you as well to Jane, our EPrep coordinator, for recruiting and organizing volunteers. Learn more about the reunification process.
